Precious newborn baby Estelle, came to see me at my Gold Coast newborn studio on her eleventh day earth side. What a stunning baby girl she is, with porcelain skin and long eyelashes that are so striking. Her daddy is part filipino so it was interesting to see what colouring she would come out with. It always amazes me what parent characteristics babies get.

We did her family photos with a black backdrop this time and I think it made for some really emotional family images. Its so important to have those family images with your new baby, because as stunning and precious as those baby only images are, a baby in a prop can be any size, but a baby in mum or dads arms, it’s then that you can see exactly how tiny that beautiful baby was on that exact day. Thats the reason I do what I do, to capture that bebe in that moment. All the super fine details of her face, toes hands, eyelashes. It’s so amazing how fast they grow and change. Within the first three weeks newborn babies change so dramatically. When they are born they usually take on fluid and end up quite swollen around they face and eyes, and then after a few days, they de puff and you can see just what they really look like.
